The founder of Haaute, a Mumbai-based Celebrity Styling firm, Ms. Shrivastava shared her journey and profound insights, leaving an indelible mark on over 100 women employees within the ITC Hospitality Group, Mumbai.

 

Born and raised as a resilient chocolate brown Indian woman in the small village of Patharia, Madhya Pradesh, Ms. Shrivastava faced societal constraints dictating her clothing choices and career path based on her skin color. However, her parents championed her education, propelling her to excel in engineering and secure a position at Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai.

 

Parallel to her corporate success, Ms. Shrivastava’s passion for fashion blossomed. In 2017, she courageously left her job, launching the HAAUTE journey through a small Instagram handle.
