Global Impact & Acknowledgment – ACOHI Honors Top Hospitality Professionals with Honorary Doctorates

Out of 230 global applicants, only six distinguished individuals have been awarded the prestigious ACOHI Honorary Doctorate for 2025

Pune, India , March 13, 2025– ACOHI is delighted to announce the recipients of its esteemed Honorary Doctorates for the year 2025. Out of 230 applications worldwide, only six top names have been selected for this coveted recognition.

ACOHI, a global leader in the hospitality industry, meticulously selects candidates based on their lifelong dedication and contributions to the industry. The esteemed jury carefully scrutinizes every aspect of the candidates before announcing the list at the start of each year. The official ceremony, where these prestigious recognitions are awarded, becomes a treasured milestone for the recipients.

This year’s honorary doctorate list includes one posthumous recognition and five Honorary Doctorates. The names are as follows: Dr. Prabhjot Mandhir (Posthumous), Dr. Arun Varangaonkar, Dr. Sunil Malik, Dr. Pahlaj Nihalani, Dr. Kishor Sarpotdar and Dr. Ashok Ghorpade. 

These individuals are renowned in the industry for their exceptional contributions in their respective fields. ACOHI is proud to honor them on behalf of the organization.
