From small roles in Taarak Mehta to pivotal roles in SDGM and Vanvaas; Actor Prashant Bajaj scales his journey to the big screen

Carving his path towards his dreams with utmost dedication and perseverance, Prashant Bajaj is all set to make his mark on the silver screen with not just one but two big-ticket feature films. All set to make his debut with a prominent role in Gadar fame Anil Sharma’s upcoming next Vanvaas, Prashant will also be seen in a pivotal character for Gopichand Malineni’s next with Sunny Deol. 

Hailing from Guwahati, Prashant’s tryst with the entertainment industry was probably designed by destiny as he entered the world of acting 10 years ago. With a course in acting, Prashant Bajaj has worked his way to the top after playing multiple small roles in several shows including Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. 

Talking about his big screen debut, Prashant Bajaj shares, “It is a surreal feeling to finally achieve what I’ve been working for since a decade. I couldn’t have asked for a better platform than working with an acclaimed filmmaker like Anil Sharma for my debut project. We have already shot for portions of Vanvaas and I’m eagerly waiting for the audience to see my work and shower their blessings.” 

Further adding about his second film Prashant says, “Even before my first film was announced, I have had the fortune of associating with a dream project like SDGM. I’ve grown up watching Sunny Deol on screen, now that I’m a part of a film starring him, I can’t thank my stars enough for this opportunity. I believe the universe has rewarded my hard work and it’s my responsibility now to be worthy of these opportunities and give my best to the craft.” 

Anil Sharma recently announced Vanvaas, touted as the modern re-telling of Ramayana, the film has captured the attention of the masses. Earlier this year, the untitled film SDGM was announced with Sunny Deol in the lead and directed by Gopichand Malineni.
