The name Shroff has been synonymous with excellence in eyecare for 110 years. Shroff Eye Centre is one of the oldest private eye hospitals in Delhi NCR, with a legacy of more than a 100 years in eyecare. Founded by Dr. Minoo Shroff, the son of the pioneering ophthalmologist Dr S.P. Shroff, the centre has grown under the guidance of his sons, Dr Noshir and Dr Cyrus Shroff.
Today, the fourth generation of the Shroff family, Dr. Daraius and Dr. Rushad Shroff, are also at the helm of this esteemed institution. Under the stewardship of these two generations, the centre has evolved into a state-of-the-art facility, offering comprehensive eye care services to patients from all over India and around the globe.
With a network of four centres across Delhi NCR, Shroff Eye Centre boasts a team of over 40 specialists, each an expert in their field. The hospital is equipped with the latest technology, ensuring patients receive the most advanced eye treatment available. It is also amongst a handful of eye care centres to have three paediatric ophthalmologists for children’s eye problems, uveitis specialists and a neuro-ophthalmology expert. From difficult cataract surgeries to complicated retina procedures, from complex corneal problems to tough glaucoma and squint cases- the centre’s expertise is unparalleled- making it a tertiary referral eye centre in North India.

The hospital has been at the forefront of ophthalmic advancements, introducing revolutionary techniques like phaco and femto-laser cataract surgery and minimally invasive retina surgery in the 20th and early 21st century. It was among the first in the region to establish a Vision Therapy Clinic and Dry Eye Clinic, recognizing the importance of holistic eye care. The recent adoption of the SILK refractive surgery for specs removal in 2023 further underscores the centre’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions.

The Dr. Minoo Shroff Memorial Trust in collaboration with Delhi Commonwealth Womens Association offers subsidised treatment to underprivileged patients, ensuring that quality eye care is accessible to all.
