The cruiser motorcycle segment might not be CFMoto’s specialty, but the company shows no signs of stopping its expansion into this market. Recently, CFMoto unveiled its third cruiser offering within a year, the 450CL-C Single Seat. This bobber version of the existing 450cc cruiser promises to turn heads worldwide with its sleek design and unique features. Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting new release.
What’s New on the CFMoto 450CL-C Single Seat Version
The most notable change in the 450CL-C Single Seat version is at the rear. The standard model’s chopped rear fender has been replaced with a longer unit that closely hugs the tire. This modification sets the stage for a new bobber-inspired rider-only saddle, which is mounted on a bespoke aluminum bracket. The seat boasts 55 mm thick padding, designed for supreme rider comfort, although it appears smaller than the standard saddle. Only a test ride can determine how this affects the overall riding experience.
In addition to the new saddle, the single-seat version sheds some weight. With no pillion saddle, footrests, or subframe, the bike tips the scales at 390 pounds, which is nearly 10 pounds lighter than the standard model. The bobber also introduces two distinct colorways: Coconut Milk White and Starlight Black. The former features thick black stripes for added flair, while the latter stands out with a tan brown saddle.

What’s Unchanged on the CFMoto 450CL-C Single Seat Version
Despite the new features, much of the 450CL-C Single Seat version remains the same as the standard model. The bike retains the 450SS-derived 449cc, twin-cylinder engine with dual balancer shafts and a 270-degree crankshaft. It’s been retuned to produce 40 horsepower and 31 pound-feet of torque, delivered through a belt-driven six-speed transmission. Given the weight reduction, the new model is expected to offer a slightly faster performance.
The chassis and suspension are also unchanged. The bike is built around a tubular steel frame, with upside-down forks and a monoshock. The 16-inch spoke-like alloy wheels feature single disc brakes for stopping power, and the suspension travel remains identical to the standard 450CL-C.
In terms of features, the 450CL-C Single Seat is equipped with:
Awaiting International Release
Currently, the 450CL-C Single Seat has only been announced in China, where it is priced slightly higher than the standard model due to the extra production complexity. However, CFMoto has not yet disclosed details about the bike’s international release. Given that the standard 450CL-C is set to launch in the American market at a competitive price of $5,699, there is hope that the bobber will follow suit.
The CFMoto 450CL-C Single Seat brings a fresh, stylish option to the cruiser motorcycle segment. With its unique design, reduced weight, and impressive features, it’s poised to attract attention from motorcycle enthusiasts around the world. Keep an eye out for this model’s potential international release, as it promises to be a noteworthy addition to CFMoto’s growing lineup. Whether you’re interested in vehicle reviews, car buying tips, or staying updated on new car releases and maintenance tips, the 450CL-C Single Seat is an exciting development worth following.
