Urmimala Boruah becomes the first-ever Indian Beauty Pageant Director to walk the Red Carpet at the prestigious Cannes Festival

Urmimala Boruah is the first-ever Indian Beauty Pageant Director to walk the extremely prestigious Red Carpet this year at Cannes as a part of 77th annual International Cannes Film Festival.

Soon after achieving this feat she said to media, “Dream it, believe it, achieve it.” She said that this has been her guiding mantra for years now, and it fills her with an overwhelming gratitude when she reflects on her life and realises that she has accomplished everything she had ever dreamt of.

She further adds that growing up in a small town of India, she had witnessed many film stars and celebrities attending these international shows, mingling with a global crowd of influential people, and experiencing glamorous moments were part of what she dreamt for herself.

After years of hardships she said that she has finally been able to walk the Red Carpet in Cannes not just for herself, but for her vision and for her Queen’s tribe, and to redefine beauty.

At the end while talking to the media, Boruah said, “I will cherish this place and this day forever.”
