Bengaluru: Recently, over 1,800 new companies have emerged in the state’s capital, Bengaluru. This represents 22% of all new companies in India, said Sharath Bachegowda, President of KEONICS and Congress MLA from Hosakote.
Speaking at the inauguration of Delta Electronics’ new headquarters and global R&D center, Sharat noted that Karnataka is also in second place for attracting FDI. He highlighted that both Bengaluru and other parts of the state are making advancements in the technology sector.
Sharat expressed his pleasure that Delta Electronics chose Bengaluru for the launch of its new headquarters and global research center. He also mentioned that Karnataka will be the first state in India to announce a GCC policy next month, which is expected to attract more GCCs to the state.
The entry of companies like Delta into Karnataka is evidence of the state’s rapid progress in technology and innovation, Sharat Bachegowda said.
He assured that KEONICS is always ready to support economic growth, job creation, and technological advancement.
He further stated that the investments by such companies are proof that unemployment issues will be effectively addressed in the future. This will boost the confidence of the state’s youth and strengthen the state’s economy.
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar extended his best wishes to Delta Electronics despite his absence.
Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, commented that Delta’s investment in India will enhance the country’s capabilities and set new milestones in the technology sector. Managing Director Niranjan added that this technological advancement will help meet customer needs effectively.
