Surat, Gujarat, India – The festive season of Navratri began on a high note with a vibrant pre-Navratri celebration organized by Shrinathji Garba Class at Reliance Mall, Udhana Darwaza, Surat. The event, held on Sunday, was organized by Bhaveshbhai Randeri and Satyam Bhagat and brought together garba enthusiasts and participants from various garba classes across the city.
More than 300 prizes were distributed during the celebration, creating an atmosphere of excitement and celebration. Attendees were treated to a lively and energetic display of traditional garba, with participants showcasing their dance skills and embracing the festive spirit. The event was not just a competition but a platform to celebrate the essence of Navratri, which is rooted in joy, devotion, and cultural pride.
Speaking about the event, Bhaveshbhai Randeri, one of the organizers, said, “Our goal was to kick-start the Navratri season with enthusiasm and create a memorable experience for the participants. We are thrilled to see the overwhelming response and participation from the garba community.”
The event witnessed a large turnout, with families and supporters cheering for the participants, further adding to the vibrant atmosphere. The pre-Navratri celebration successfully set the stage for the nine-day Navratri festival, as the city gears up for an even bigger celebration of garba and devotion to Goddess Durga.
