Raju Gauli, DOP of 50 superhit shows including Ishqbaaz, Naagin, honoured with Dada Saheb Phalke Indian Television Award by Mandakini

The cinematographer who gives a great look to the director’s vision is Raju Gauli, who holds the record of being the DOP of most Indian TV shows. Yes, Raju Gauli, who has been the Director of Photography of many superhit shows like Jamai Raja, Naagin, Ishqbaaz, Kundali Bhagya, works very hard to make the shot more beautiful and effective. He constantly tries to do something new and this quality of his sets him apart from others. Raju, who has been working in the TV industry for more than two decades, has more than 50 successful TV shows and many awards to his credit.

Recently, he was honoured with the Dada Saheb Phalke Indian Television Awards 2024 by legendary actress Mandakini at a grand ceremony held at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai, which was a very proud moment for him.

Raju Gauli, who hails from small town to mumbai, came to Mumbai to fulfill his dreams as a cinematographer, here after a lot of struggle, he achieved his goal. He also went there and shot for the production houses of America and Canada.

The specialty of Raju Gauli is that he thinks every day what new he has to do in today’s shoot, what he can do better. He discusses a lot about the scenes and shots with his director and his team. He always tries to add something extra even to a normal scene. He believes that planning is very important because this planning and thinking is very useful and it is visible on the screen.

He considers himself very lucky that he gets a chance to fulfill his passion day and night. Though there are not many opportunities to experiment in TV shows, he did a lot of experiments as a DOP in Ishqbaaz and he is happy that he got the success.
