Prayagraj Development Authority Organizes ‘Walk for the Nation’ on Independence Day

Prayagraj: In celebration of Independence Day and in line with the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, the Prayagraj Development Authority will organize a ‘Walk for the Nation’ on Thursday.

“This walk symbolizes social unity and harmony. We encourage every citizen to participate and reaffirm their commitment to nation-building,” said Arvind Kumar Chauhan, Vice Chairman of PDA. The walk will commence at 8:30 AM from the PDA office in Civil Lines and will proceed to the High Court. Throughout the walk, participants will be engaged with patriotic street plays.

Additionally, the International Shyam Band will play patriotic tunes to uplift the spirit of the event. On Tuesday, tricolor flags were distributed at major intersections across the city in preparation for the event, and this distribution will continue on Wednesday.

An interesting highlight is that the volunteers distributing the tricolor are dressed as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, complete with masks resembling him.
