Film “Lachhminia” Makes a Strong Statement Against Casteism: Director Ritesh S Kumar

Director Ritesh S Kumar has made a powerful statement about casteism through his film “Lachhminia.” He stated, “Sometimes our caste makes us feel ashamed.” The film questions the caste-based mentality and critiques the corrupt systems of society. It is made in the Bihari Hindi language.

 

Ritesh S Kumar shared his concerns about the film, saying, “The film ‘Lachhminia’ exposes the deep-rooted casteism that still exists in our society. It is not only a means of entertainment but also an effort to highlight those social evils that are often ignored.”

Main actor Sintu Singh Sagar commented, “Our film shows how the rot of casteism works at every level of society and how it affects the lives of people from lower castes. Through this film, we aim to convey the message that we must stand against these social evils and move towards a more equitable society.” Ritesh S Kumar hopes that “Lachhminia” will succeed in raising awareness among viewers and play a significant role in bringing about positive change in society.

“Lachhminia” is produced under the banners of Filmmania Film Factory and Natrang Entertainment, with Tanushree Chatterjee and Sintu Singh Sagar in the lead roles. The film is produced by Ajitabh Tiwari, with direction by Ritesh S Kumar. The film depicts how feudal people exploit the women of lower castes and how their voices are suppressed or even silenced if they resist.

The shooting of “Lachhminia” took place in Lakhisarai district of Bihar and the film is now ready to be showcased at film festivals. Actor Sintu Singh Sagar mentioned that the film will raise questions about some of society’s corrupt practices, challenging the mentality of casteism. He expressed pride in his role in the film and urged viewers to watch it upon its release.
