Sources from leading universities report that students are increasingly turning to INVENT to supplement their traditional education. The platform’s key features, including internationally acclaimed mentors, assured internships, and industry-recognized certificates, have been cited as primary drivers of its popularity.

At Delhi University, third-year student Priya Sharma shared her experience: “The mentorship program connected me with a Silicon Valley professional, providing insights into startup culture that are not typically covered in our curriculum.” Sharma added that this exposure has significantly enhanced her job prospects. Similarly, at IIT Bombay, final-year student Rohit Patel highlighted the value of the assured internship program. “The three-month internship arranged through INVENT offered practical experience that complemented my theoretical knowledge,” Patel stated. He further noted that the internship played a crucial role in securing multiple job offers.

The platform’s certification program has also gained recognition among employers. Ananya Mehta, a recent graduate from Manipal Institute of Technology, secured a position at a multinational corporation, crediting her success to the INVENT certificate. “The certificate demonstrated my practical skills, which set me apart during the interview process,” Mehta explained.

INVENT’s core offerings are more than just a series of online lectures. It provides students with access to internationally acclaimed mentors—industry leaders who have successfully navigated the complexities of global business. These mentors offer valuable insights into entrepreneurship, strategy, and leadership, providing guidance that goes beyond traditional classroom learning.

For students like Anjali from Mumbai, the impact has been transformative. After joining INVENT, she not only learned the theory of business but was mentored by a seasoned entrepreneur who helped her understand the real-world application of those concepts. “It’s a different experience when you’re learning from someone who has built a company. The mentorship I received gave me the confidence to launch my own startup,” Anjali said.

However, educators caution that while such platforms offer valuable opportunities, they should complement rather than replace traditional education. Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dean of Student Affairs at a prominent Delhi college, commented, “While INVENT provides excellent industry exposure, it’s crucial for students to maintain a balance with their academic commitments.”

As the platform continues to gain traction, it remains to be seen how it will impact the broader landscape of higher education and employability in India. Education experts are closely monitoring these developments, acknowledging the potential for such initiatives to reshape the connection between academia and industry.

The INVENT team has announced plans to expand their offerings and reach more institutions across the country. They have invited feedback from participating students and partner organizations to further refine their programs.
