DAVIM, Faridabad collaborate with CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd: organizes Internship drive for BCA and MCA Students

MCA Department of DAV Institute of Management, Faridabad collaborated with CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd and organized Internship Drive on 19th Apr 2024 for the students of B.C.A students of semester 6th and students of MCA 2nd & 4th Semester. Mr. Nitin Babbar, Manager – Corporate Relations, CETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd was the eminent speaker of the day who made students aware of different technologies that are on high demand in the market.

Students also appeared for technical round and got selected for internship drive 2024. The main motive for this drive was to make students aware of different technologies and providing them job opportunity.

Dr. Satish Ahujaa, Principal Director and Dr. Ritu Gandhi Arora, Vice Principal recognized the efforts of MCA Department headed by Dr. Sarita Kaushik and her team members for organizing such event for the benefit of students.

About DAVIM: DAV INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, NCR (Faridabad) was established on 12th October 1997 by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, with Vedic values embedded in the educational vision. The institute is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak which is NAAC accredited with an institutional score of 80-85 percent. It is among the few most preferred institutions in NCR for Management & IT education. DAV Institute of Management started its functioning with its MBA program with a batch of only 30 students and 5 faculty members in 1997 and today it has catapulted itself to an excellent learning ambience in a span of two decades by providing 8 courses at post graduate and undergraduate levels. The DAVIM has toiled incessantly and takes pride in the fact that the number of students has increased from 30 to more than 2000. The faculty strength has grown from 5 to 100 plus.

The offerings are two post graduate programmes:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – a regular 2 years degree programme
  • Master of Computer Applications (MCA)-a two year regular degree programme.

At Undergraduate level, the courses offered are also in Business Administration and Computer Applications: 

  • BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration),
  • BBA-CAM (Bachelor in Business Administration-Computer Aided Management),
  • BBA-Ind. Int. (Bachelor in Business Administration-Industry Integrated),
  • BBA-BE (Bachelor in Business Administration-(Business Economics),
  • BCA (Bachelor in Computer Applications),
  • B.Sc.(H) Computer Science.

The infrastructural facilities are its best including fully equipped class rooms and labs, safe drinking water facility, safety equipments like fire extinguisher system and equipments, disabled friendly structures and green energy system (solar system) to cater to a part of the energy requirement.

DAVIM takes pride having established its identity in NCR where it is the most sought after B-school and also attracts students from all parts of the country. High achiever alumni of the institute add feather to the cap.
