Dreams are conceived in a moment of passion and until one keeps the passion alive, dreams never die! My name is Anita Majoo Proothi from the city of dreams Mumbai. Having worked for top corporates since the last 15 years to having recently won the Runner’s Up at Mrs India Empress of the Nation 2024, life has indeed come a long way. Walking the runway was a dream extremely close to my heart since childhood. Having participated in numerous intercollegiate fashion shows and had my portfolio photographed by the renowned Boman Irani, I was confident that everything would fall into place as planned. However, life had other plans, and I was unable to pursue my dream as I had envisioned. Being a firm believer of manifestation, I held onto my dreams and never let it fade despite the obstacles.
Many years later, I came across this wonderful platform being offered by DIVA Pageants for married women from all walks of life to participate & showcase their talent in the world of pageantry. That was the turning point and I decided to give it my best shot. The thrill of being on the ramp, facing an audience, and showcasing stunning creations is a feeling that words can hardly capture. Today, as I reflect on my journey, I am filled with immense gratitude towards the universe for allowing me to keep my dreams alive and achieve them. As I look to the future, I am excited to continue this journey with the same passion and fire that ignites its very essence.
I encourage all women to believe in themselves and remember that, regardless of the circumstances, life will always offer another chance which you must “NEVER LET GO”
