The AISSMS Institute of Information Technology (IOIT) successfully concluded its national-level fest, Alacrity 2025. This vibrant event, which brought together cultural, technical, and sports competitions, witnessed an overwhelming participation of students from various disciplines.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Pro Vice-Chancellor Mr. Parag Kalkar and Mr. Sudhanshu Pandit, who inspired the attendees with their insightful words. Over three days, Alacrity hosted 25 competitions, marking its 14th successful edition. The festival saw participation from 3,500 students representing 15 colleges from diverse fields such as engineering, arts, commerce, science, MBA, pharmacy, and law at the national level.
A major highlight of the event was the presence of renowned actor Amey Wagh, who interacted with the students and added to the excitement. He also felicitated the winning participants, recognizing their outstanding performances across various competitions.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including AISSMS Joint Honorary Secretary Mr. Suresh Pratap Shinde, Managing Committee Chairman Mr. Bhagwanrao Salunkhe, and committee members Mr. Dilip Umbarkar, Mr. Shrikant Moze, Mr. Nikhil Khanse, Mr. Dhaval Jitkar, and Mr. Rajabhau Patil.
The success of Alacrity 2025 was made possible under the guidance of Principal Dr. P.B. Mane and the encouragement of AISSMS Secretary, Shri Malojiraje Chhatrapati. The event was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Vinita Philip, Mr. Devendra Itole, and Dr. Deepali More, and all the other teaching and non teaching staff and students ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for all participants.
