Himachal Pradesh Governor gave National Award to lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi

Himachal Pradesh. Senior litterateur and poet lyricist of Aligarh, Dr. Avnish Rahi, who was honoured with Sahitya Shiromani Shabd-Samman, was awarded the “Rashtriya Gaurav Sahitya Shree Samman-2025” Himachal Pradesh for his continuous contribution in the field of literature. For this, a grand program was organized at Radisson Blue five star hotel in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, in which the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Honorable Shiv Pratap Shukla honored lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi by giving him the title of “Rashtriya Gaurav Sahitya Shree Samman-2025” Himachal Pradesh by giving him a shawl, memento and citation.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Himachal Pradesh Governor said that the literature of lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi touches the heart of the people. Shri Rahi’s songs are a bouquet decorated with various colors and fragrances of the garden of literature. In which the voices of playback singers like Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal, Anup Jalota are adding more fragrance.

Lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi dedicated this honour to his father, litterateur Amar Singh Rahi, the people of Aligarh as well as all litterateurs and writers.

Various art and literature lovers from all over India including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan participated in the programme organised under the banner of Caz Brain Private Limited Mumbai Maharashtra.

It is worth mentioning that lyricist Dr. Avnish Rahi, who is a lecturer in Hiralal Barhasaini Inter College, Aligarh, was recently honoured with the title of National Award “Bharat Vibhushan” by the Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly Hon’ble Ram Niwas Goyal in Delhi Legislative Assembly, while Bollywood film actress Bhagyashree also honoured him with “Sahitya Shiromani Shabd-Samman”.
