Employee’s of Leading Indian Retailer in Luxury Beauty & Fragrance booked for Data Theft
Two former employees of Baccarose Perfume and Beauty Products Private Limited, presently employed at Shopper’s Stop Beauty, are at the centre of a investigation into data theft. The accused allegedly transferred sensitive company data to their current employer – Shopper’s Stop Beauty shortly before resigning, raising critical concerns about data security and corporate ethics.
The breach came to light when Baccarose’s IT security systems flagged irregular activity, leading to a deeper analysis that uncovered unauthorized data transfers. This has since escalated into a formal criminal investigation, with the police filing an FIR against the individuals involved.
The police have registered an FIR against both the former employees of Baccarose Perfume and Beauty Products Private Limited in Worli, a leading distributor of luxury fragrance and beauty products
